Design leadership grounded in how projects are actually built.

Tony Bennett is a Southern California designer and Senior Architectural Associate / Project Manager with more than 21 years of experience carrying complex projects from early concept studies through construction documentation, agency review, consultant coordination, and construction support.

His work includes custom residential estates approaching 18,000 square feet, K–12 whole-site modernizations valued up to $75 million, DSA-reviewed educational facilities, commercial and medical offices, multifamily developments, and federal NAVFAC/DOD facilities. That range has shaped a practical design approach that balances architectural character with code, constructability, schedule, and the realities of approval.

At Bennett Design Studio, Tony applies that experience to residential new construction, remodels, additions, ADUs, feasibility studies, and permit coordination. He is often brought in when a project needs clear technical direction, stronger consultant management, or an experienced hand navigating local agencies.

“Drawings that respect code, craft, and the way good building has always been done.”

Based in Vista, Tony is known for calm communication, disciplined follow-through, and a willingness to take ownership of difficult coordination issues. His goal is straightforward: develop a thoughtful design, produce a coordinated set of documents, and help the project keep moving.
